AGB's - General Terms and Conditions of the Crystal Ski School

- hereinafter referred to as "ski school" for short -

General

Every customer accepts the following conditions for ski courses and ski rental without restrictions.

We recommend (because of the Covid-19 pandemic) to register online on our homepage. In exceptional cases, you can register by post, telephone or e-mail. Minors can only be registered by their parents or legal guardians.

We use your personal data exclusively for course information and course organization (cover letter, confirmation, course schedule and other information). With the registration an obligation arises between the course participant and the ski school. When you register, tell us the address, the course and the date. You will usually receive a booking confirmation by phone or email. The ski school can withdraw from the contract if the minimum number of participants is not reached or for other compelling reasons (course is canceled, postponed, shortened or course fee increased accordingly). We will inform you about this and in the event of cancellation we will try to find an alternative. The meeting points, stops and departure times will be communicated to you with the booking confirmation or by telephone. Your own equipment must be checked beforehand - preferably before the ski season by a specialist company - for the functionality of skis, bindings and boots. For various reasons, program changes or course cancellations can only be made by the ski school. Otherwise, the general terms and conditions of the crystal ski school apply.

Conclusion of contract and terms of payment

All prices quoted include statutory VAT. You will receive a corresponding receipt for each payment. Payment can be made in cash, by EC card / credit card (from 50 euros), via a payment service or in advance by bank transfer. When renting equipment is registered online, payment is only made on site.

You can withdraw from a registered course at any time. In the event of withdrawal, cancellation or non-participation in a course, we will refund the remaining amount (see next point) after deducting a cancellation fee for administrative expenses.

The lift fees must be paid additionally. The legal guardians / accompanying persons are responsible for ensuring that minors have a valid lift ticket before the start of the course

Withdrawal / cancellation / rejection:

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone services that are subject to certain natural conditions (snow conditions, storms, storms, ...) and cannot be provided by the ski school. We will try to find a coordinated alternative date with you. The reimbursement of costs in the event of a complete cancellation of the course due to force majeure (storm, weather, pandemic, business interruption, etc.) and without alternative alternative, we will reimburse you in full or in part for the canceled course hours. If the booked course is canceled on your part with a written declaration due to injury, illness or other reasons, you will receive back the course fees incurred minus a cancellation fee. You can cancel free of charge up to one week before the start of the course, in which case we will charge 60% of the course fee up to one day in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours before the start of the course, we will charge a cancellation fee of 80%. The cancellation fee is due to the administrative effort. Missed course days will not be reimbursed, but can be made up for in the current season in the event of illness with a medical certificate within the framework of our existing course groups.

Regulations in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic on withdrawal / cancellation / cancellation:

Customers can view the hygiene and protection concept of the Kristallschischule on our homepage and get information at any time. The same applies to our teachers. The applicable distance and hygiene rules must be observed, as far as they are feasible in the classroom and in the organization (especially with children). The ski school can at any time order an exclusion from participation in courses in the event of an infection or symptoms. Thus, the regular cancellation conditions apply in the event of cancellation by the ski school. If the customer withdraws in the event of an infection or symptoms, the cancellation conditions apply if the customer refuses. Customers are obliged to inform the ski school promptly and truthfully in the event of infections or symptoms. Covid-19 infected or people with Covid-19 symptoms cannot participate in the course. For guests / customers under the age of 18, this confirmation must be confirmed by their legal guardian. A course participant can only cancel free of charge if he or she can present either an official positive SARS-CoV-2 test or a quarantine order from the health department. The customer can submit the evidence either by email, via Whatsapp or as a copy by post.

For further measures, please refer to our Covid-19 concept of the crystal ski school.

The ski school's contractual liability for damage other than physical damage is limited. Participation in ski courses is at your own risk. The crystal ski school, its employed snow sports instructors or third parties assume no liability of any kind.

Data protection: Your personal data will only be used to process your booking, to organize the course and to send you the new program, in compliance with the applicable national and European regulations (data protection). Further information can be found in our data protection declaration.

Consent: With your registration you declare your consent to the course schedule and the loan conditions and accept the general terms and conditions. The regulations also apply to all other courses such as snowboarding, cross-country skiing and telemark.

Rental conditions

1. Booking

Rental material is only issued upon presentation of a valid photo ID. With the signature of the customer, the loan contract becomes valid. Commenced days are billed as whole days from 10:00 a.m. The rental equipment must be returned at the agreed time of return. If it is used for a longer period of time, the rental period is automatically extended and the additional payment is calculated when it is returned. For equipment returned earlier and already paid for, a refund is only possible in the form of a voucher or with the settlement of outstanding course fees.

In the event of theft of the rental equipment, the customer must immediately report to the responsible police station, report the theft to us immediately and verifiably and replace the loss.

The transfer of rental equipment to third parties is not permitted.

2. Nursing treatment

Careful treatment is mandatory. The use of the equipment is only permitted on designated slopes or trails. Use on streets, parking lots, footpaths, etc. is strictly prohibited.

The customer has to provide a replacement for any damage to the ski (board) and / or the running surface. This can take the form of a full service (from € 35.00, depending on the workload) or as a used sale of the damaged item. This also applies to free rental equipment from the test center.

3. Broken skis and snowboards, damage

The breakage insurance only applies to broken skis, snowboards and poles while skiing and snowboarding. For all other damage - be it by accident, negligence or intent - the customer has to pay compensation. This can take the form of a full service (from € 35.00, depending on the workload) or as a used sale of the damaged item. This also applies to free rental equipment from the test center.

4. Breakage insurance

Breakage insurance is compulsory for every rented ski / snowshoe / snowboard and is valid for every signed and numbered contract.

5. Accidents

The crystal ski school assumes no liability for accidents and injuries. In the event of injuries, which are presumably due to not opening the ski bindings, the customer is obliged to return the ski to the booking office immediately after the accident - to check that it is correctly adjusted.
